Welcome to the heart of Kyoto, Rokkaku dori. Also known as the kitchen of Kyoto, the Nishiki Market is right around the corner with its exotic rare environment packed with a variety of seasonal and traditional Kyoto specialty foods, ranging from the iconic Japanese sushi to the pickled vegetables "Tsukemono" and mouth watering desserts. These culinary delights will give you a taste of Kyoto, and you'll most certainly want to come back for more.

Next door to our facility is a long established Japanese fan shop, an endless row of traditional Japanese sweets, and recently established restaurants, cafes, and stylish bars. From popular stores to hidden gems, can you find your own Kyoto? The most famous and largest department stores in Japan, Takashimaya and Daimaru, are only a few blocks away. The nearest train station, the subway Shijo station, is only a ten minute walk from here. If you walk for 20 minutes you can get to Gion, Pontocho, and Honnoji area.
Rokkaku dori is a very convenient place to stay, but since it is a neighborhood where people live, the nights are calm and quiet and you may hear the soft sounds of jazz playing in the streets. The convenient store is right in front of our facility, and there are multiple supermarkets nearby. Our welcoming staff will be waiting for you with open arms.
