Regarding our policies for coronavirus

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are closely monitoring the state of our country and following guidelines from government health departments. 


The wellbeing of our guests and associates is our top priority at R&Run Kyoto. 

We have begun to follow new guidelines for our services to create a safe and comfortable environment for both our guests and staff. We appreciate your understanding as some of these guidelines may cause inconvenience for our guests. 


Guest rooms and public spaces of our facility:

  1. The 5th floor lounge area and meeting rooms are temporarily closed

  2. Hand sanitizers are placed at the front desk

  3. Our staff frequently disinfects areas where people touch, such as door knobs and elevator buttons

  4. Our staffs will be wearing masks at all times

  5. We will check our guest’s health conditions upon check-in

  6. We have strengthened our disinfecting process of guest rooms

  7. To minimize contact, our housekeeping services will be limited to once a week during your stay. Towels can be exchanged through the carts placed outside of each guest room, and the trash can be disposed of in the blue bin next to the elevator on each floor. Please feel free to ask our staff for any additional amenities you need.

  1. Mask required during all hours of service

  2. Health check and disinfect hands upon arrival to facility

  3. Hand sanitizers placed throughout facility for frequent use

  4. New company system and guidelines for managing health conditions 

  5. Self-quarantine as much as possible from areas with traffic and contact with others

  6. Adjusted office hours to avoid congested commuting times
